I love it would have definitely went sasquatch though, for the upgraded front differential and Transfer case.

I see alot of people saying that, but really other than the front locker paying 5k for a few more inches and a front locker doesn't make much sense to me.. All my 4WD cars i've owned, haven't even had a rear locker.. Do you really think it makes that big of a change?


I was planing on adding a zone 2 in afterwards..

my 90s 4runner with 31 x10.5 goes anywhere i want it to with out lockers at all.. So is it really that big of a deal?

For me, It's more than just a front locker and a lift. The upgraded front diff is a m210 which is more beefy. The axle shafts will handle more abuse. The transfer case is also the "advanced" transfer case which gives a slightly better crawl ratio. Also, the axles have 4.70 gears.

That all matters to me more than a suspension and bigger tires.

I live in Southern California. We have extensive trails here with rock gardens and stuff. If I was an auto I could two foot drive and use the brakes to help the front get traction. But with a manual it is more difficult. Since the Bronco won't articulate as well as a jeep, it's more important to have the front locker. I've offroaded mine a fair amount and it definitely lofts tires a lot so I lose that front drive.

It's all preference and personal budget really. For what you get in the sasquatch package I think it's a steal when offroading

Good to know thanks.. Here in TN most of the trails i've hit are just slippery logging roads and not a lot of rock play.. I just wanna chug up the side of a mountain and play in the mud.. but good to know the other aspects of the sas package

Nice build! I went the same specs but with the alloys. I feel like the stock capability of a BD is far more capable than my off road skill set is going into this.

Took it offroading here locally. Im very happy with the new eibach stuff. The ride quality is excellent over the rocks in the riverbed and dealt with everything the trail threw at us.

An update to the current setup.

Thanks to 1552 wheels, Eibach, and Peak Suspension, mine is just about getting to where I want it.

New 1552 Patrol HDs in Matte Bronze:

KC gravity 6 bar and Flex Era 4 ditch lights

Also, got back from overland expo and a new Relentless Fab bumper jumped in the Bronco with me. I'll post pics of that later. It has a quick-ish removable winch plate on it.
