In a world full of Area 51 and Cactus Gray, both are going to stand out. HPR was my first choice, VB my second. I absolutely love the way the HPR sits in the sun. Just gorgeous. Can’t wait to get mine.

My Black Diamond coming in is Velocity Blue. I do really like HPR and thinking that if I adjust my second order to a Wildtrak, I’m going HPR. The contrast with the black just looks amazing to me.

I saw a 4-door in HPR the other day, in bright sunlight at a dealer lot. It does have an orange hue in sunlight (see photo I took below), so you better like orange rather than straight up red. On the shadow side of the vehicle, the HPR looked more reddish.

VB I saw on a 2-door a while back in sunlight and shade, and imho it looked fantastic. And I'm not typically a blue car fan.

VB get's my first place vote (with caveat of still not having seen Race Red in person). With the way things have gone though, I half expect Ford to drop VB for 2023, just because. ;)

Antimatter Blue.

Oh wait… they don’t make that anymore (and I’m personally lobbying Ford to never bring it back on the Bronco. I like being unique!!)

I personally was in the velocity blue club. However, I saw it at a dealership and I personally wasn’t impressed. I switched to HPR that day. Build week is 4/25 so we will see how much I like my decision
I just saw a HPR ranger, it is way more of an a
Orange color than a red...VB

I think it all depends on the lighting of the vehicle. I just saw a hpr at my dealership last weekend on an Outerbanks. It looked like Rapid Red in the shade, a little bit of race red when it was parked in the sun. In the picture below it shows a little bit of the orange coming through. Alot of the pictures of hpr in garages or in the factory look burnt orange. I think there won't be a whole lot of them and that is the appeal to me besides a variety of colors depending on what light you are in.

VB. I was Rapid Red, and didn't think HPR was dark enough red to make me happy.

I like HPR in the sun when it's really red, but I can't stand the burnt sienna color in lower light. I'd go blue. I wish Ford would give us a darker but not as dark as AMB blue.

Wife's F-150 is Velocity. Good looking color. Having matching colors would be dorky, so I ordered Rapid Red... which is now Hot Pepper Red.

I wonder what color Ford will make me pick for next year.

I totally agree! I like the darker blues. I am not a huge fan of the VB in certain lights either. I think it is too light for me. If they would've carried over the lightning blue to all trims and not first edition that would've been my first choice.

I agree with you. Lightning Blue would have been my first choice as well. Maybe next year 🤣

I was going to get Cyber Orange but now on my 2023 I think I'm going with VB. I think it pops the
most out of the 2023 colors.
