I didn't mention this but completely agree. The wide track really helps with cornering stability. If you enjoy spirited driving, the capabilities of this thing in corners is pretty incredible, especially considering you're not exactly running tires that are setup for maximizing grip.I LIKE the extra axle width, less body roll and more stability flying down rough trails or freeway cross winds. I've been in parking garages all over and never had a problem and that's with true 37's on, not the under sized BFGs.
Whipple tuned, I should be in the high 400's hp. I've owned off road vehicles all my life.... scouts, FJ40's, older broncos, wrangler rubicons, my 12 raptor..... when you have something arguably with the off road capability of an FJ40 but with almost 500 hp the fun factor goes WAY up. Yes, the axles are wider and that drives some people nuts but the actual body is about the same so you really don't get any additional pinstripes than a regular bronco other that the actual flares.
my two cents worth![]()
I've found I actually worry way more about over-driving the tires in cornering than any sort of body roll or stability issues. In some weird ways it even feels more stable than my EV6 GT and is definitely a lot more planted (my EV6 feels like it wants to kill you when cornering hard and it has a tendency to both power-on and lift-off oversteer which can be unforgiving).
