This is actually pretty cool to see. Normally wouldn’t get the chance to see it all stripped bare bones. Makes you appreciate the whole design aspect a little more.

That doesn't make sense if the floor can get wet or muddy .... i think the subwoofer and the amp are in the rear swing door( spare tire door)
That space in the rear gate is just to house the latch mechanism. The grill you see is just the access panel for repair and replacement.

It sticks out because the door is relatively thin and there isn't enough clearance for the latch mechanism otherwise, and to meet with the mating surface/latch on the body.

Jeeps are designed the same way.

I think it explains why there is not rear-facing console vents. That tunnel is so tall it could not handle any duct work. One of tradeoffs for clearance.

Ford Bronco Video: Bronco 2-Door Shell Walkaround 1608148376947

... tho, I killed the woofer as it was my very first install, jus need a new woofer and I'm good.

-or-

something Bazooka; passive or powered (haven't decided) .

-or-

I was thinking of getting two 8's or 10's and having 2 tubes vertically on either side of the backs of the rear seat .

What I have now will not fit.

... ?? rear of the 2 door.
My thought would be to replace the rear two pods with a custom sound bar that goes across the whole back. Like this for the JL, but I'm thinking holes for two 6x9s or 6 1/2s, and two 8 or 10 inch subs. Will have to see whats up once I get one on hand.
