OUCH!!! I wonder what speed they hit it at?

Hit several deer, two with this truck, one at 30mph and one at 70mph. Not much damage!

After he hit it the deer it looks like it goes sliding for like 30 feet.
When I hit my last one it flew like 40-50. She was standing still in the fast lane.

My wife had a buck ram the side of her CLS, he was in rut, she was going 20mph.

I feel worse for the deer than the Bronco

😭

Edit: no offense, the Bronco damage is sad too. But the deer was, ya know, alive and stuff.

I wonder how much the ford bull bar would have helped in this situation.
Before the redesign, probably a lot. With the redesign, probably would have been into the radiator. A lot of bitching because it blocked "Bronco" on the grill, so they raised it high enough to not do its job. That's when I dropped it. Will do aftermarket ASAP...

My Sierra suffered cracked plastic on the 40 MPH, and a dented bumper on the 75 MPH... Wife's Trax, $8000 damage at 60 MPH. At least it got me home, soft tissue injury only...

That ugly ARB bumper that hasn’t released yet is looking really pretty to deal with all the deer on Texas highways!

Just giving the bull bar on my FE a shake leads me to believe it's much more about appearance than function.

That was a small deer and running low. So any bar up in front isn't going to do any good. You'd have to have that full ranch bar they call them.
