Do you think that they followed the engine break in procedures?
I would like to think somewhat, but maybe they did an oil change and a tire rotation. Or at least tossed on some new treads and rolled! They are trying to push the envelope so maybe they are pushing to engine failure. What are your thoughts?

I expect they won't, but if they did make it a little further north my vote would be Idaho's St. Anthony Sand Dunes. What I wouldn't give to run a new Bronco on those dunes.

For old times' sake:

WOW! Looks like tons of fun. Would like to try THAT.

Curious if the support rigs are still following them too.
For the rubicon trail there were air dropped supplies. Don’t know what it had though. Maybe fuel water and food.

It was a memorable day of off-roading for sure! It takes guts (and lots of extra antifreeze and distilled water in the boot just in case) to run a Rover V8 at WOT for 4 hours on a 90+ degree day (probably 110 degrees over the dunes). These are big dunes too, big enough that you can hear them sing/rumble most days. When I had a chance to run these dunes with the local off-road club, I'd have been crazy to turn it down. But even the I4 Bronco will have a 50% better power/weight ratio than my Disco did, and power was the only thing I found lacking for this type of trip. That engine is much better suited to the (far) lighter Defender 90.

I would guess the will come to The Denver Broncos stadium and take some pictures. Then head to Ouray and get some high altitude testing done on the trails there.
