I plan to give my 2-door a 2-tone look, so what colors might complement Cactus Grey? If I end up with Area 51, I could easily see doing white (and a white top). That feels natural.

But what about CG?

the white trim on the cg Bronco in the reveal video is awesome. We need silver grilles too.

here’s the the thing with the white trim — some photos of Cactus Grey look white(ish) in bright sun. So what will the white two-tone look like in that case?

if you weren’t going to do white as the secondary color, what would you think about doing?

I like the second one down with the black accent
That's a tough rig!!

The last one is sweet for a true vintage steelie look. Not normally my cup o' tea, but that one works for me.

I am considering Flat Dark Earth rims, bumpers and bolt-ons.

Not Vintage, but might work too.

I'm old school in my views on color so for cactus gray to me you would need something super dark to give it a good contrast

Agreed. If you look at my profile picture (which probably doesn't accurately represent CG) I added a grey stripe at the bottom of the door. Something darker (but not black) and understated would look good.

I just matched the fender flare colour for the grey.

The early Broncos had either a bunch of stuff painted Wimbledon White (a very creamy off-white) or silver or some of each.

You may want to order some paint samples and play with them especially because CG is such a strange color.

I just saw a 2015 Wimbledon White Anniversary Mustang for sale at my local dealer and was very sad that Ford didn't offer Wimbledon White as an option for body or trim on the new Bronco.

"Strange color" -- that's what's making me ask this question out loud about complementary colors.

I know there's much hate around the carbonized grey MIC top, so what do people think about a fat carbonized gray stripe down the center of a Canyon Grey Badlands to match the top?

Not super color smart but as another vote for the Oxford White or Fender Flares Gray.

If you truly want a vintage look, I'm not sure CG is the right choice anymore. When we thought it was mint green maybe. But most people are saying it's cement.

I'll admit that I think the CG Mustang looks good with the orange and black accents, but not sure how vintage that is.
