I’m pretty sure that if Ford feels an aftermarket product was responsible for the part failure then they will probably try not to cover it. Ie if they don’t offer 35s on a 7sp and you screw up the tranny and show up with 35s, they will probably at least have an argument to not cover it.

But nobody said you have to show up at the dealership with 35s on it.

Yes I agree, I just think the Sasquatch has upgraded parts and/or heavier duty.
But Timmy the Coms boy said we could petition FORD to let the REAL DRIVES (aka MT peeps) get the Sasq package. So that tells me it isn't an engineering issue. Plus, why would they source a MT that is "supposedly" so weak.

You would just need the lift.
I'm confused as to whether I'd need the lift if the 35s are a specific option on the Badlands. I just re-chcked and the 35s are listed as a specific option.

So if you get a base with the 7spd can you add:

lockers
Front axle
Lift
35’ wheels and tires?

basically a sas without the electronics and the bilsteins, but with the 7sp?

more will they block that?

I see there is a M190 front dif. Standard With optional M210. I’m assuming the M210 option comes on the Sasquatch package. I would like to know can you get the bigger dif. Without the Sasquatch package.

The Badlands comes standard with the M210.

I noticed this too. I'm getting a Badlands with a MT. I see that 35s are an option. Doesn't a Badlands+35's essentially give you the Sasquatch package? I'm thinking this is the way I'm going.
Can you get 35 as an option separate of the Sasquatch package?
If they have a Ford Performance package with 35s, your warranty will remain intact.
Can you get this package with the 7sp?

Ford's website sucks ass. But if you look at the Badlands specs the 35's are listed as optional without a limitation. But Ford is playing fast and loose wth the specs s who knows? Btw, it's amazing how bad their reveal information is. So disappointing.

You can’t get the Sasquatch with the 7 speed. At least right now. But I’m sure there will be aftermarket packages through Ford Performance with 33s or 35s that are 7 speed compatible. I’m guessing they won’t be cheap though.

i did some maths with the badlands package. 33v35” tires

so if you put 35s on the badlands you need 10% more force to move the car vs the 33s.

and I think that’s why Sasquatch isn’t available with the manual is the clutch would have to work 10% harder.

then 37s work 12% harder than 35 meaning it’s close to 25% more from 33 to 37. That’s a MAJOR difference that ford could easily deny transmission warranty claims because of.

Assuming your math is correct I suspect that's why us stick shifters will have to live to like the 33s.

Did it 5x over and got the same numbers . Also that’s on flat ground on semi decent road.

Off road on an incline. It’s DRAMATICALLY more

Where was it confirmed that engineering was the deciding factor here? It could just as easily be bean counters.
It's not. Pure speculation that is spreading. I'm thinking that the exclusion of the Sasquatch has more to do with the electronics tied to the auto. Sasquatch comes with the electromechanical t-case right? And the rear tire locking feature for tighter turns? Popping the clutch with those items could definitely cause problems. I doubt it has anything to do with the manual not being able to handle the stresses.

Very strong possibility. The AWD transfer case is available on the manual. But everything else is auto only. The auto sway bar, auto tire lock. Auto diff lock. 1 pedal driving.

It think it’s a combination of everything.
