This thread is NOT to bash on the mic top. Idc how you feel about it. This thread is to give me some sense of calm about how late I'm getting my Bronco 😋

Who is getting a wildtrak or FE and opting to wait for the black top?
Follow up question --- whats your reservation time stamp?

You guys are my competition, so to speak outside of dealer allocations.

I have a 9:10am 7/15 reservation

I am. Not sure exactly how this is going to work?
At order time (dec 7th to the end of jan, based on what we know now) you tell your dealer you want the top, they add the price, and you get your bronco when it's made according to dealer allocation, your reservation time stamp, and the availability of the black top. Those are the 3 minimum factors affecting when youd get your bronco. But there may be more if you select other late delivery items (i.e. the tailgate)

I'm waiting on official pricing, and, to see if it's still available on the lower models.

I have no issues with the MIC, or waiting, or MY22, but would choose the modular depending on my Bronco colour choices and the colour options for the roof itself.

Nothing. Come On Bronco!!
I'm undecided. I don't hate the MIC top and could live with it. But I was psyched about the pop out corner windows and do thing the mod top looks better. I'm hoping we get more information on the mod top before we have to order. My hopes aren't high .....

I have a badlands reservation. I’m not sure if I’m “allowed” to wait for the modular top, as it isn’t standard on the BL. If I can’t wait, I guess I’ll cancel. Same for the slide out tailgate.

Thats a really good question. They've made no indication if other trims can order the black hard top at factory.

I think if anything you'd have to order it as an accessory and also pay freight. Which to me personally is so out the realm of practical, that I wouldnt do it. But someone else's checkbook is their business. If you got it, do it

My guess is - like any accessory - you could order your BL with the modular top, but your build will slide until all components are available.

I'm waiting for the black mod top... and totally cool with however long it takes.

Ford, when you're ready buddy, I'll be here.

No worries.

Only for FE/WT.. As those Broncos were designed with that top and discounted $1895 All others are MIC or wait for MY22

I’ve gone back and forth on waiting or not..
It will most likely be a last minute decision
I prefer the black top but it isn’t a huge deal breaker
My Reservation is 7/23 8:15 am

I'm going for BL... and I changed to an Oct 1st with Granger, so I'm already pretty late... so I'm not going to factor into your questions... just felt like sharing how the unknown time frame for "late availability" is cool with me in general.

You know... just posting and adding noise to the forum instead of doing actual work..
