The more I think about it -- I'll wait get a black top. I'm assuming that would push my deliver date back?! . Disappointing but ... Oh well. The grey MIC looks like shit. For me it looks so bad on some colors it disqualifies them and at best looks just tolerable on couple other colors. It feels like you have to settle on MIC if you want any chance of gettin a Bronco this summer. Between the delays and the poor rollout if build and price Ford has fumbled the ball.

For those willing to wait- are you from the older generation? As a whole delayed gratification seems more prevalent with age.

Anyone know if Ford has confirmed mod top for FE without being delayed? This should be a no brainer for the 7k reservation holders to expect this top and not a replacement.

I was considering waiting for the black mod top, but decided to live with the MIC top and just use it for Winter duty. The rest of the year I'll use a soft top like the SEMA build, assuming one will actually be available for 2DR. Decided I just don't need two Winter hard tops, no matter how nice the black will look.

For what it's worth though sounds like MIC keeps getting darker and darker

If it keeps sitting in the sun then of course it's going to tan more.

No way I’m getting a Mic top, it may work for a lot of people but here’s reality in Hawaii for anything unpainted ?. If it means I’m gonna have a 2022 first edition so be it!

Im hopeful that MIC is a different material than what’s shown here and that it won’t fade like that. Hopefully at least in most places. If I we’re getting FE or any model with painted side mirrors, I’d go with painted top. But, that’s just like my option... man.

I'm thinking the same person that gave us only blue, and brown interior to choose from on the OBX gave us the MIC top. Seriously, I don't think I'll ever understand the color choice for the hard tops.
