I did not but I have all my sensors working and no lights/codes, it may be part of the Ford kit because you don't use the inner front two sensors and Ford tells you to turn off the parking sensors in Sync. I need to go in for my wiper motor flash so maybe I will ask on the RCM update if it even is needed.
Iā€™ll let you know if they figure it out.

I relocated the bumper sensors into holes drilled in the winch kit so donā€™t need those turned off. (Wish I had seen the plastic relocation mounts before drilling but oh well.)

Just would be comforting to know the Restraint Control Module is optimized for the winch.

There are posts in this thread that show how to use the front 2 sensors with that plate. Drill 2, 1-1/8 holes and move the sensors up.

Couldn't pass on this sale. Not super in love with how exposed the OEM winch placement is. However, haven't seen a aftermarket winch bumper that doesn't look just as awkward. Glad there are parking sensor and camera relocation options now.

Anyone install this on a 2-door non-SAS Badlands with factory installed hitch? I've got a bit of rake to mine already, wondering how much further this addition would drop the front.

I couldn't pass it up either. Wasn't going to look into a winch until next year, but at $1050 AND a 25% coupon...? Can't refuse it. And thanks to @RagnarKon's YT vid on winch installation I'm confident these old and broken bones can do the install all by themselves (since I have the modular bumper it'll be even easier than what he had to do).

And now that I've taken the dive into FDRS (again, kudos to RagnarKon for those vids) I can do the required update myself as well.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Question for the experts here. If I have the winch installed, will I need to uninstall everything if I later decide to install new coilovers, Hoss 3.0 steering rack and JKS max tire kit? Iā€™m guessing the rack and JkS kit may require bumper (and winch) removal?

I donā€™t have winch installed (or even purchased yet, but those Ford coupons keep renewing!). Just trying to plan out the upgradesā€¦

Add my DP here about cashback on ford accesories. When picking a cashback website, go with Rakuten or other reputable ones. Be careful about Capital One shopping.

Capitalone shopping is new to the cashback game so sometimes they offer ridiculous reward rates. I have used it for some small amount purchases before and I can get the reward.

Then I got my karma. I got this promotion email during BF week so I pulled the trigger. After a few days, it showed this purchase was ineligible.

Searching online for their custom service, then I realized they can be reached by email only, no phone or other way. What a joke...I have been exchanging emails with them this whole week and then first offered a $8 courtesy reward (it should be $280). Finally, they agreed to raise it to $250.

Based on my experience, I don't recommend using it, at least for Ford accessories. Too much hassle.

For those of you that used the Mountains 2 Metal or DV8 camera relocation kit, were you able to install the camera kit without needing to pull the winch off? I'm seeing conflicting information online about the not being able to remove the grill with the winch in place vs some instructions saying to mount the winch first before the relocation kit. I'm having the dealer do the install of the winch, and am curious if it'll be easier to pull the camera before they do the install. I'd appreciate any insight!

Also, for anyone considering getting the kit, some American Express cards have a 10% back for Ford Accessories right now, which worked for me (although the charged price was different than the billed price, they are probably charging differently for the install). Rakuten did NOT give the advertised cash back, I need to reach out to them.

The grill CAN be removed with the FP winch setup already fully mounted. šŸ‘šŸ¼

$850 delivered to my house before Christmas. Got it all installed today. Hardest parts were drilling out the parking sensors (that metal is thick) and actually routing the winch wiring where I wanted it (extremely tight spaces)

Finally got mine installed! Didnā€™t want to use the capable bumper so got a mod bumper too. Also added new aluminum skid plates, and oracle fog lights to go with it!

The Warn $100 gift card showed up today! After reading previous posts I had written it off! I jumped the gun and paid a little more but with discount and points felt it was reasonable. sounds like a lot of you got a smoking deal!
