Warn winch rebate denied

I purchesed the Warn winch kit from Ford since it was a great deal. Warn is offering a rebate on there winches. So I sent in my Ford receipts to apply for the rebate.
Warn rejected it, first saying that the receipts did not have enough information on them.
After calling Warn 3 times and leaving messages ,they never returned. I then called Warn customer support. The man there said he would look into it for me.
After a few emails back and forth with him, he rejected the rebate offer too.
His reason was that Ford's Warn winch is a Ford performance winch, not a Warn EVO 10s.
Did anyone else try to get the rebate?
Am I just getting blow off from Warm?

I looked into it, the Warn model/part number in our FP kit, wasn't on the list winches eligible for the rebate. I was expecting the rebates to get rejected because of that.

Correct, but the rebates list eligible winches by model number, and the winch in the kit has a unique model number on it, not listed as eligible.

The winch Ford sells us is the same, but I think and it was pointed out here by someone else that the Ford performance battery terminals have a 90 degree bend in them so they hook up to the battery terminals easier plus the 10mm bolts are supplied. Warn's version doesn't have that.

So, they aren't exactly the same. Way I see it If you got it from Ford at $1050 plus 20% off you scored. Hard to blame Warn on this. Warn's version Top - Ford's bottom.

I would bet ford has leveraged warn on price and I don’t blame warn for not taking a double hit with rebate…

I have a fair amount of complaints about Warn winches, but complaining about them not giving you a rebate on an item you didn't buy from them or isn't specifically designated in their rebate program is a whole new level of nimrodary.
