How did you end up getting carpet mats? Is this standard? I ordered mats when I placed 2021 order and will do so with 2022 but I want those all weather rubber ones.
Carpet mats are standard and included. If you ordered mats you will get the rubber ones.

My main reason for the BD was the MGV and washout interior. So I'll more than likely go with a Big Bend and save a little money.
The starting prices on the two vehicles is $170 apart.

We may have unreasonable expectations of the "wash out" floor liners on the BD and BL. It's either this or carpet. The idea is to be able to easily wipe them down and clean the floors, and maybe a light hose or sprayer. Still is a big advantage over carpet if they'll need to be cleaned often based on how we use the Bronco. Maybe thinking about hitting the interior with a hose is expecting too much. I love the non-carpet rubber floor in my F350, but it still has insulation under the rubber floor. I've hosed it out, but carefully with light flow, not blasting it with a hose. Seems to be the same here.

I wasn’t sure about the exact details of the washout floors. Figured some might also need a better look.

Couple of noted things. Some are assumptions since I haven’t had the interior get filled with water. Soon.

They do come with carpet floor mats for daily driving. Water will get under the flooring. The plugs are under the floor steel and over the washout flooring. The air vent under the seat is in a low spot that will let water under the flooring and inside the vents. No idea how water between the floors and flooring will escape. I will have to dig deeper on this thought. I will lift the truck at work and take some photos. The plugs are attached. While this may work for not losing them, you could damage them with your feet when they are open. I will be removing mine during off road times. Lastly, do not put anything that cannot get wet in the back. Water will most likely get under the cargo cover often.

Huh??
Base price of the 4 door Black Diamond is $38545
Base price of the 4 door Big Bend is $35880

That's a $2665 difference

I have always wondered about water getting trapped in between the rubber floor and the metal. This confirms it will probably happen. This will be a breeding ground for rust and mold. Seriously second guessing the BD now. Maybe Amrorlite will make a full rubberized flooring for the Bronco like they have for the Jeeps.

As posted above, the passive drain plugs are designed to get rid of any trapped water....they are underneath the rubber floor and always open:

If you want carpet but want a Badlands you just add leather. This will get you Carpet, 10 way seats, heated seats and leather.

Oops, sorry. My fault. I had the BB 4 door selected against the 2 door BD.

Yup, I plan on just using a sponge and bucket to clean them out. Like hand mopping. Father has a 96 F-250 with no carpet, just a drop in liner for the floors, no plugs, and this what we did with it, worked well. I just don't want carpet because of dog hair, smells, and everything else it holds.

If you want carpet but want a Badlands you just add leather. This will get you Carpet, 10 way seats, heated seats and leather.
The MGV seats are heated too. You do get second row cupholders with the leather (4D only) though.

If you add modular bumper and locking diff to BB the BB cost $100 more than the BD
