Tech bulletin - Fill A pillar with damp rid and discard of gel mess every oil change interval. In cooler climates, use jello pudding for a tasty snack.
A little to 'retro' for me. I don't plan on mine rusting out quite so quickly.

Looks like Car and Driver may have had a similar issue...
Best news yet....once its in C&D, its sure to attract attention:

During one of many downpours, I saw water running down the A-pillar like a tear.

Interesting that it leaked out of the airbag and into the vent.

Do you have trim pieces filled with jello yet or still working on it?

I will never understand why anyone would build, buy, or live in a flat roof house. I don't care how good it looks. The water will find its way in. Just give it time.
Pitched roofs too. Everything deteriorates over time.

quick high-pressure car wash may not.
Can confirm that a car wash will cause the passenger a-panel to leak inside Bronco. Went to a nice hand wash this morning and on the way home noticed the leaking. I wiped it off and then it reappeared while braking.

🤐 don’t want them taking my Bronco

Just had this experience for the first time in pouring rain! LOL. I literally couldn’t carry on a conversation with the window down at the drive thru without getting soaked. Ahh learning the little nuisances! All good, not sending it back.

Is the A post leak only on hardtops?

Not yet. Honestly, if it’s a problem with the design of the vehicle or the top, I’ll just wait for the recall. I certainly don’t want my Bronco stuck at a dealership while they figure it out. I went in for a simple oil change last week and was met with all kinds of excuses immediately about how they know nothing about these Broncos. I asked if it’s the same 2.7 that’s been in Fords for years, and was told it’s a new truck. So, I’m not confident about leaving it in the hands of any dealership quite yet, if they’re wary of oil changes even.

Jeep guys are giving a smug smirk right now…

Sure hope it’s nothing major! Please keep us posted.
Why? My son has to put towels in the floor of his Jeep whenever we get a big rain. So. Much. Water.

So that's why there's drain plugs on the floor...

I just power washed my soft top extensively and did not notice any leaking like this. There was a very small amount along the edges of the windows where I directly sprayed them.

Just dropped mine off with my dealer yesterday, had them do a complete fluid check of the driveline, and an oil change. They ended up doing a rear axle fluid change as well. I'm picking it up this afternoon. Tell your shop to stop making excuses! :giggle::giggle:
