Watts Linkage on lifted 2 door

Found this interesting. Was buzzing through some bronco pics and this caught my eye. Rear end appears to be more in line of the Everest configuration. Watts linkage and drop out 3rd member as opposed to dana rear and 4/5 link. Super early chassis mule? Is this why we never see this one drive around?

Yep those pics virtually proves my suspicions...that the Bronco suspension was based off the ranger raptor international version... they did preliminary tests using ranger raptor stuff and then dumned it down for mass production.
