As long as there are people willing to drop $5-50k over msrp, good luck. These are the same people bidding $50k+ over on houses. Can't change that 'gotta have it' mentality American consumerism has burned into us.

Ha! Around here people offer 100's of thousands over asking on houses. My daughter was offered $1,620,000 for their house that was on the market for $1,425,000. You must not live in the Bay Area. ;-)

This is where negotiations come in. I bought a base off the lot and there was an ADM of 5k. Talked it down to 1k. It’s not that tough to use bargaining skills to get the compromise on a deal.

I did last year when I reserved with Granger. I knew the local dealer I've bought from since 1986 would add a stupid crazy ADM on the Bronco, so I didn't even try. I will be a sweet day when I can drive my Bronco to that dealer for an oil change, them ask me where I got it, and why I didn't buy with them.
