I was just canvassed to see if I wanted to work at Webasto's Plymouth, Mi. plant while my (big 3)factory is shut down temporarily due to the micro chip shortage.
Webasto must have serious man power issues to ask for employees from different employers to come work for them temporarily.

Damn! Honestly though not surprised we are so short handed right now. More looking to get fired so they can go on unemployment. Kinda sad! I bet they are def hurting. They got big orders to fill for these Broncos. I’m betting they never expected this kinda turn out for this vehicle.

I used to live less than 1/2 mile from the Webesto plant back in the early 60’s. Off of Haggerty and Greenbrier. Wisconsin is too far of a commute and I’m getting too old! Otherwise I’d go work there to help the cause!

BTW, Webesto plant wasn’t there then!

That is so disgustingly unamerican. 😞
I'm just shocked their wages are less than unemployment would provide. Thought those jobs paid more.

Not when the government tacks on extra money above and beyond what UE normally pays.

What did they expect? People who were laid off a year ago stepped in shit and came out smelling like roses... It was a huge raise for a lot of people.

Problem is even if they do pay well with the extra Federal money some people would rather do nothing and make 75-80% of working wages in UC than work a full week and make only a little more. Sad to see the work ethic of some in this country now.
