As the period to make changes to orders ticks closer, I'm struggling even more.

Thought I was set on carbon grey and was just going to pray I didn't hate myself not getting AMB.

your (wife's) pics prove AMB still looks pretty good dirty and has me feeling the pull again. Shit.

Thanks for the pics (kinda)

how does a spare tire cover work with that backup camera? any ideas?
There's a hole in the cover for the camera. Check out the pics in the accessories guide.

That confirms why I want mud flaps and a spare tire cover.
They may not be sexy, but some mud flaps are increasingly looking like a necessary option.

This is pretty much what the side of my truck looked like pre-mud flaps. And add an inch of dirt standing on the running boards. What would make the spare so dirty? My son drives a Jeep and he gets the spray on the side, but his spare cover isn't filthy like that.

The wife has struck again, and took these pictures of a Bronco in my neighbor’s driveway. Bonus shot of the back of a very dirty Bronco Sport in the background of one shot.

It’s shocking how many dirt roads we still have in MI. The clay here in SE MI is particularly crappy in color and consistency to get off vehicles. It is another reason I tend to go with white. Assume it was some high speed dirt road driving? Great pics and thanks for sharing. I saw the Cactus Gray OB that I took pics of this weekend pulling out of the neighborhood next to ours yesterday. I need to do some exploring, seems like they have a bunch in pool rotation right now 😎

Me Thinks They have a nice cabin in the north Michigan woods, east of Vanderbilt, accessed along dirt roads like Tin Shanty Road and Chandler Dam Trail.

I consistently see winter road grime coating Broncos on the doors and side panels behind the front tires. Looks like some basic mud flaps for the front tires will be a necessary addition.

Since this thread has devolved into the Mud Flap debate and not Always Mostly Black, the pictures are evidence of the mess that can be minimized with effective flaps. Even those who wear the rooster tail of mud as a badge of honor still probably don't appreciate grabbing the door handle caked in mud.

My problem with the mud flaps are the design/style that Ford offers. There is no need to go full '76 Truck Stop style. They look terrible. But also, the design of the attachment is contrary to the modular design of the Bronco. Ford wants to brag about how easy it is to remove/swap parts. Yet, the flaps are attached permanently. If you are wheeling, you don't want the flap to get ripped off when caught on rocks/debris. Why didn't Ford design a flap that utilized the attachment points of the flares? With the quick release of the flares, the flaps should also be able to be removed as the conditions warrant.

Hopefully the AM will come up with a better style and modular design for flaps.
