"That's it"FL- $50 county tax plus 6% sales on the vehicle. That's it.
From NJ to Philly to FL- seems alright to me lol"That's it"
You say that like paying 6% tax on the whole car isn't fucking outrageous
Addition. We already paid license, title, and HUT for $1540.27. But I also sold my trade in elsewhere so the taxes are on the full vehicle price. Is this in addition to license fees? Or just another name for it?
My friends 2002 Chevy duramax in California was $380. But $80 in Idaho. We have it in NC too, but on the flip side my property tax on my house is like 1/4 what it was in Illinois
New England taxes their residents to death.Wow. I can't believe people have to pay yearly taxes on a vehicle outside of tag fees.
I didn't know this was a thing? I Pay WI registration yearly, I think it's $60, regardless of vehicle. Custom plates are $120. Is this supposed to go towards road maintenance?
Kansas does.....I paid $618 last year on a 2018 mustang gtWait some states make you pay an annual property tax on the vehicle you own? Does that then not apply if you lease the vehicle? And how to they factor in depreciation? What a joke.
No property tax in okla. Just 4% excise at time of purchase of full price less rebates. Trade-ins do not get reduced from price pd.
Also live in AZ. I presume the OP is referring to the registration tax/fee. We do have those here, and a portion of that is deductible as a property tax. I think I paid over $800 for the first year, but that includes a customized plate. Year 2 will be $655. I believe all counties are the same here, but let me know. I may need to “move” if other counties don’t have the registration fee.No property Tax in AZ.
You pay sales tax based on the county and city. So I think I am saving about $300 by choosing a dealer in a lower tax city. I could save another $120 by driving all the way across town, but I'd probably spend at least half that much in gas.
Vehicle license and registration is based on age and presumably value of vehicle. My wife's new F-150 was $465 including $25 for the personalized plate.
Sticker on the 150 was $42k as I recall.
Since I still don't have a Bronco, I don't know what mine will be, but it ought to be around $320 on my base based on the sticker difference between a Base Bronco and an F-150 STX
