About a year ago, without the Bronco coming, I could say that my next vehicle would have been the Onyx edition Outback, except for...

1) The damn CVTs that Subaru won't budge on.

2) The assumptions that are made about Subaru drivers. While there are plenty of them here in CA, there are several distinct demographics that are associated with them.. which are all fine, but I'm not a part of those demographics...
I'd be getting a Crosstrek with a manual, zero chance for a CVT. I've never heard of any stereotype about Subaru drivers beyond them tending to be fanatically brand loyalist.

I want the Bronco, but with my lifestyle, I’m mulling over buying a badlands sport.

we’d go offroading occasionally but most of the use would be commuting.

anyone here have any thoughts on this? Would I immediately regret it?

I want a larger vehicle, so my biggest concern is the bronco sport’s size

Subaru is definitely sweating with the Forrester right now. The forrester has become so boring lately
They're definitely forgettable, I didn't remember what it was until I read your comment

Its alright.
Kind of “cute”
Think they should of named it
“Shetland Pony” or something though.
its not “really” a Bronco.
but better than all the other ugly cross-overs they have right now!

Been seeing them slowly trickling in where I live, Roseville/Lincoln

I didn't read 6 pages here, but I mostly like it. I'm not in the market for that size, but amongst the competition it is one of the most unique in looks, most of these (and in general most SUVs and cars) start to look the same to me, design dictated by aerodynamics can't look that much different. If we needed that size practical car I'd be looking at it for sure. I'm sure you can take it on many fun adventures.

My wife got her Outer Banks Bronco sport in Jan and she loves it. It gets around gray in the snow, handles well on the Hwy, gets good mileage, spacious and quality interior, and it is has some zip for only having a 1.5. The two GOAT I really see a difference in is the sport mode, slippery, and eco. These are the most used for us. It’s better than I expected it to be and even though I would not want it as my daily driver I like driving it.
With that said I can’t I can wait to get my Big squached out Black Diamond with the 2.7!

Not a bad performance for a "Shetland Pony"

https://www.broncosportforum.com/fo...is-badlands-sport-to-hells-revenge-moab.2388/

My wife loves her FE Sport and I enjoy driving it as well.
Funny!
I was trying to talk my wife into one!
(Shes Toyota through and through!)
Wants a Runner!
We have lifted 03’ Sequoia still like new (hard to convince her to get a cross over!)
Boy those new Ravs and Highlander‘s sure are but ugly!

Still think the “Sport” should be more aggressive than they come though. Even before all the aftermarket lifts, and wheels.

Hi,

I was just wondering what people on here thought about the Bronco Sport since I’m guessing most people here are interested in the regular Bronco.

I like it with the caveat that it’s a lot smaller of a SUV than I’m used to. The last SUV I owned was a Toyota 4Runner to put it into perspective. I guess what I’m trying to figure out is if you guys like the Bronco Sport or just not interested bc it’s basically a more boxy looking Ford Escape and on a car based frame. I drive a Mustang right now but want a second vehicle to do outdoor stuff but I’m not a hard core off-reader.
It's a great car for young women. I'm thinking about getting one for my daughter. She's 3.

If it were not for the Full Bronco coming out, I may have jumped on one of these but only the full Badlands model. (Or a Rubi)

Have you passed by Future Ford recently? They have tons of them on their lot for people willing to pay their ADM.
