It is by design to not coddle the crotch goblins. Start early on by making them uncomfortable and they will be less likely to hang around after they turn 18.
My ‘89 Bronco rear seat didn‘t do anything but fold flat. I guess on my new Bronco, I no longer own, I didn’t really see a need for reclining seats, as long as I was comfortable, that’s all that mattered. Those that rode in the back never really complained though.

It does recline about an inch by pulling the top lever and pushing back. So technically it does recline

Buy a used Lexus at COPART, rip the rear seats out and leave the rest of the LUXUV at the side of the road - Install the rear seat in your Bronco....

Pretty sure the rear seats in the four Expedtions I owned didn't recline. Unlike the Bronco, they at least folded flat though.

It’s the back seat in an off road vehicle. This isn’t a Mercedesdoes anyone have a solution to the non adjustable back seat in their full size bronco? Can’t move up or back and can’t adjust seat angle? How is that acceptable?

In all fairness the Wrangles back seats are not much better. I’m not even sure if the new ones can be adjusted at all. My buddy has a 2015 that he bought different brackets for to adjust its angle.
Do you sit back there? How many vehicles actually have adjustable back seats? Stop crying. Geeze. Buy a soccer van...
