What’s your bronco backup plan?

My wife and I have agreed the criteria for a second vehicle is "something smaller than the truck that we both enjoy". Sadly the only 2 options are the bronco and a D90. Now if land rover can get their act together with build and price...

I reserved a base 4 door . Want the squash and the 2.7. if it doesn't work keep the 2019 F150 and start building it.

21 Jeep Rubicon more capable off road, but will not ride as nice on road and less $$ than the BL.
I will get the Bronco if fitting 37's is as drama free as the Jeep. I really want the 2.7 Bronco motor over the 3.6 Jeep motor, but 37's are a requirement needed for clearance.

Probably I'll just keep riding my '18 outback if the bronco dream falls through. I've been wanting the Ford in part because I really miss my FJ... plus the bronco can go topless and has a teeeerbo. Maybe I'd go 4runner or pick up a used FJ, but nothing else is really calling my name and motivating me to switch atm.

For some reason if you are unhappy with what the Bronco offers, you should look at a Jeep Wrangler. I currently have the Rubicon and live in Colorado and this vehicle can handle anything you can throw at it. However, in my review of the Bronco vs a 17 Wrangler, the Bronco should be even better.

So obviously some people are unhappy with the choices Ford has made.. ranging from interior colors, manual trans availability to potential lacking sufficient rear a/c vents.

If you don’t go with a Bronco, what is your alternative vehicle choice?

Cry.... I don’t really have a back up plan. I’ve been leasing the past few years and now that the Bronco is nearly here, i don’t want any other vehicle to be my DD. I suppose I’d maybe hope in a Mustang or maybe the new F150. I had the idea before the reveal, if I didn’t like the look or something significant about the Bronco, I‘d go get a two door Wrangler instead. I’m all in though, I’m really looking forward to building my Bronco and excited to finally take delivery and drive it.
