I’m not obsessed with black wheels, but they do work well on some colors. My mustang is velocity blue and i bought the black appearance package wheels Off a buddy. I think it looks better than silver or gunmetal on a velocity blue vehicle.

I almost bought bronze venomrex 601s for my truck, but decided to not buy wheels until I get a new truck.


PSA: if you purchase nice wheels, please use tire coating, light dressing, etc. to prevent them from looking like faded garbage against your fancy wheels.

Yeah sure. Those are awesome.

But I need controls and a phone charger because it's not 1970.

Also...Cup holders because I'm a thirsty bitch.

Just slip a couple of these into the dash and all the good controls appear to be overhead. All you need for a charger is a couple usbs next to a slot for your phone all on the dash. Anything you need to look at while driving shouldnt be lower than the dash. Also i never have been a fan of a bunch of stuff between the seat especially electronics on anything with a removable top. I know someone said they are getting serious with waterproofing on this thing but how many wet 20% chance of rain topless days will that stuff lastif it isnt tucked under the windshield.

Anyways more dealbreakers,
Lack of cool vibrant colors,
No stripe packages(atleast subtle pinstripes),
Interior bits that dont look cool or feel solid,
A detailed manual explaining the development of and everything I can do with those little hook loops on the hood lol!

Black wheels seem to be offered a lot all of a sudden. Every truck has a black package of some sort. The only all black wheels I've had so far was on an F-150 Tremor. My Edge has the base black and silver wheels only because it was the last one my dealer had and I didn't want to wait a month for another one in-transit with the all black wheels. Bronze and gold remind of pimped 80's- 90's Lexus

Just thinking isnt ford the orignal black car company, any color you want as longxas its black, triple black mustangs, and Nite edition trucks?

These were in the day when chrome was about all there was. I had a black 14 Mustang and ordered it with the 19 inch chrome wheels. That seems to be about the time when black started to be popular.

A " true" parking/hand brake. No foot pedal, no console button.
Water friendly interior.
Drain plugs.
Padded (or the ability to pad) roll cage.
Lightweight, easily stored hard top.
