Is it safe to be in a full cage without a helmet, and HANS harness for that matter?I would prefer a full SCCA/FIA certified roll cage, two Recaro race seats, screw eyes for my six point harnesses

I hear you about the 4D not laying flat, but supposedly there will be a storage shelf that will level it out. I have not seen good pictures on it. Sounds like a solution.Look like the rear seats dont fold flat in the 4door so thats a major issue when I have muliptle dog crates to throw in. Ford is losing a substantial markets of over a million potential owners who use thier vehicles to haul dogs to various events. Time to how badly Jeep and what ever they call FCA now has screwed up the new Grand Cherokee. 4Runner still folds flat.

Problem is a storage shelve may or may not move and its damn hard to anchor crates down to and around some POS shelve that some millennial product designer thought was a good idea. Gawd it aint that hard to design seats that fold flat. Look at the current 4runner and Grand Cherokee. I want a bench seat in the back not individual buckets. Hell what I would really like to do is replace the driver's seat with a nice Recaro or Procar Rally XLI hear you about the 4D not laying flat, but supposedly there will be a storage shelf that will level it out. No offense, but I don't think the multiple dog-crate use case ever showed up on the engineers boards. I think you are vastly over-estimating how many people need that.Look like the rear seats dont fold flat in the 4door so thats a major issue when I have muliptle dog crates to throw in. I hear you. I may have a buddy tig weld 1/8" aluminum and my own shelf to spec with perhaps pullout drawers and find a way to install and remove it when needed. I only arc and mig weld and perhaps I can learn how to lay some dimes.Problem is a storage shelve may or may not move and its damn hard to anchor crates down to and around some POS shelve that some millennial product designer thought was a good idea. I don’t think a million show dog owners have been waiting for the new Bronco, but 2020 has been a strange year.Look like the rear seats dont fold flat in the 4door so thats a major issue when I have muliptle dog crates to throw in.
