What’s your hold over vehicle?

I searched and came up empty handed, so if something like this exists already sorry!

I’m curious since we’re all a ways from actually getting to drive our Broncos and we all have different reasoning for purchasing one. What is your hold over vehicle that is going to get you by before the Bronco lands in your driveway? Please share

For me the Bronco is a year round Mustang convertible. Given our short summers I could not justify another summer only drop top car and I’d been contemplating a new Stang Vert for a few years....with the Bronco it all just made sense, I can justify adding it to the stable in my head since it can be used all the time.

So as I’ve done for many years on a nice sunny day I’ll be driving our ‘72 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royal Convertible. It’s got 99k miles on it and runs like a dream! Floats over the road and you can steer with a pinky. I typically put 1.5-2k miles on it every year from April to October. Seeing as how I have no shortage of vehicles to drive its fun to spread the miles out.

It’s replacing my JK. I will just continue to happily drive and enjoy it until my day one reservation Bronco is built. Sometime in 2045.
