The placement doesn't bother me as much as the fact its electric not manual. Its a truck, they're always on the lower left next to the hood latch.
It's also backward. Every truck I have had with a mechanical "4th pedal" parking brake, you PULL to release. On bronco you pull to activate and push to turn it off.

And there are plenty of trucks where it's on the right hand side of the steering wheel. My son's Frontier has it on the right.

The way the emergency brake handle was designed. It’s totally backwards.

Honestly I'm gonna look into seeing what I can do about the Hands On Wheel alert.
That was one of the first things that I turned off. Didn't even need FORSCAN to turn it off.

Once I disabled almost all the nanny features, the vehicle is a pleasure to own.

Yours doesn't have a garage door opener? Mine does and I don't have a garage door LOL
I am in the same situation, no automatic garage door, but I have the opener... I even got rear cupholders too!

Right? I don't know why people are so upset about not having cupholders. Just look on the side my dude, they're right there.

Sorry Im late to the bitch fest but i gotta say the only complaint I have is the damn parking brake!!! The location, the function, what was wrong with the lever? The satisfying yank and ratchet sound is burned into my soul, now when Im walking away from my Bronco, im thinking "did I engage the parking brake?" and i have to go back and turn it on to confirm instead of peeking in the window. I haaaaaaaaaaaatteeee it!!!!

This thread is interesting. The emergency brake sounds like it’s the same as my current ‘18 F150. Its location is on left under the lights knob. I’ve turned that knob with my knee but have gotten used to not so I never hit it at his point. I’m not a fan of the emergency brake on the F150. But I’ll be used to it next year. Or later when I get the Bronco.

Tailgate opens from the left. Most North Americans drive and park on the RIGHT side of the road, and load the back from the sidewalk to the RIGHT.

It opens from the left so that when you park on the curb it does not open into traffic, and it’s easier for the driver to open to retrieve gear. And it’s more convenient for right hand people to open.

I just want to point out my $36k bronco creaks and feels exactly how a $36k vehicle I would assume would feel and handle. Ok carry on

I didn't have the patience to read through all 37 pages in this thread but I'm glad to have read in the first couple pages anyway that some other folks think these turn signals are too damn loud. Thought I was the only one at first.

Having to use Ford service dealers to get anything done (which they don't seem to be able to do).
