What’s your most outlandish ADM story?

So being discouraged about my second day Badlands order and not expecting it until fall, I starting looking at dealers around me trying to find one for MSRP that I can drive around for now and pass along to my son after mine came in. I found one at Flood Ford in Greenwich, CT, a Base model 2 door. I called and spoke to them and they said it was in fact on the lot and was a dealer order. I asked what they wanted for it. $20k ADM!!!! MSRP is $33, 495, but they would “let it go for $53,500”. Oh thank you for being so gracious. I hope they choke on it.

Also found one almost exactly like my build at Irwin Ford in Laconia, NH. I called and explained that I had one on order and that if they sold me that one, they could take mine when it was build. They said they would do if for an additional $15k.

Are people really paying these prices? Just trying to find out what other experiences everyone else is having.

Interesting thread. I see a host of Broncos near me - about half of them have ADM. FEs look to still be in the $90s+ - insanity.

I do think that you'll have some trouble getting many folks to admit that they paid a 30-50% cost-up on a Bronco but I guess we'll see...

Can I really list my Black Diamond that I'm getting next week on eBay for $68k (20 over my out the door price with delivery, tax, tag, title, etc) and somebody is gonna snap it up?

Can I really list my Black Diamond that I'm getting next week on eBay for $68k (20 over my out the door price with delivery, tax, tag, title, etc) and somebody is gonna snap it up?

He just happened to call the day the financing fell though and they gave it to him at MSRP. He drove it for a couple days and decided to test the waters and threw it up on Facebook Marketplace. A guy from California flew to Boston, gave him cash, $20k over MSRP and drove it back. I love the Bronco, especially after doing the Bronco Off-Roadeo and can’t for it, but there is no way I’m paying over MSRP.

And during our time as a small Ford dealer for 97 years, we never charged one nor did we even ever considered it. There is making $ when you can, and then there is extortion.

The dealer who had me at 10k over but assured me it was lower than the other dealer in the county. The other dealer had me at msrp.

That's nuts. I don't know how I could turn down $20k and not just get back in line.

I think thats there for bait. On the national Ford inventory site, it’s not listed. The only one it says they have is a Special Order Base 4 door.

ADM for reservation holders is ridiculous, however, a dealership would be crazy not to add ADM on Broncos on the lot without a reservation.
