No, it’s got a different instrument panel. “
  • High-Level Instrument Panel”
Oh I didn't even know there were two different ones! Do you know what models get the high-level display?

I'm trying to decide between the Black Diamond (BD) and Badlands (BL) trim levels as well. We plan to do some off-roading in the Bronco, but we aren't extreme about it, i.e. we don't anticipate a trip down the rubicon trail in our future. We find mud and dirt plenty, so the hose out interior and MGV seats are what we want.

A difference I haven't seen called out - slightly different
G.O.A.T. modes - Sport on BD, Baja on BL.

Other differences I've noted between the two:

- BD had the grabber blue accents (handles & stitching) whereas BL has the orange accents
- BD has 2-tone MGV seats, whereas BL has one color with the orange stitching
- Both have 7 G.O.A.T. modes - however, BD has "Sport" whereas BL has "Baja" which are:
--Sport - for street use, hold higher RPMs (high power range, full turbo), aggressive downshift, firm steering, 2wd
--Baja - 4H, high RPMs (high power range, full turbo), max throttle response, soft steering, relaxed traction/stability

BL features/options
- upgraded front and rear LED signature lighting
- Stabilizer bar disconnect
- ability to add High/Lux packages (avail. leather)
- * Locking front differential (included in Squatch option)
- * Bilstein position sensitive monotube shocks (included in Squatch option)
* because these are incremental on BD, the Squatch package is more $$ on the BD trim, but the trim level cost savings make up for it.

Instrument panel is important to me. You see it every time you start the vehicle.

Thank you all, I was doing the same comparison- also, and I know tires can be upgraded and will wear out but the BL has 33 BFG A/Ts (which I love!) but the BD has 32 A/Ts but does anyone know what kind?

also, for on-road, are the upgraded shocks on the BL going to ride smoother? Or be stiffer?

thanks all!
