I am a Dec 2020 Wildtrak order place, that has been pushed to the 2022 MY. Looking at photos I realized that the Bronco has an Antenna... WTF! My Ram and Infiniti are Antenna free. Why after this many years and technology are we reduced to the infidels called antenna?:mad:

Its dual purpose, it also a low clearance warning system.

The roof is modular so Ford can’t tuck the radio antenna(s) up there in the little shark fin you might be used to. Thankfully, the Bronco antenna can be either deleted outright and replaced with a rubberized cap or swapped out for VERY compact alternatives. I can’t stand long antennas and couldn’t be less interested in garbage radio stations so I went with a stubby antenna replacement.

Wranglers still have them too. And Silverados weirdly.

Actually, it's one of the many endearing things that I like about the new design.

Just delete the antenna. If you’re still listening to AM or FM radio, I don’t know what to tell you other than you don’t have to.

The long antennas are needed for AM radio reception in rural areas...

Its a Ford Standard that certain vehicles need to pass.
Truth. I read somewhere that is exactly why. Ford knows their customers. I put on a shorty but keeping long one stored in the back for the long trips.
