I see there are under seat set ups. I don't know how those will sound. I see there in a Box made for the rear tail gate? Maybe the best set up?

Stock sub spot?

I would like to hear what you think?

Photos and links are great!

I'm coming very a over board high end set up I did in my GT500.

Thanks.

i had one of those under seat setups. Sounded like crap. But it depends on your ears. But I returned and went with a traditional sub in rear compartment. Easily can disconnect and take out in 10 seconds if needed. Never going to sound good under rear seat at that size.

Best would be get the stock sub box and install a decent sub and amp...could also replace kick 6.5s with subs...

I bought the box from Ford and had an 8 installed by a local shop. They cut a hole in existing panel and installed a screen over it to look factory. Of course, I also had them replace all the speakers and add an amp.

yea I went alittle crazy on my last build. So looking for a great sounding set up that will not take room in the 2 door.

That's EXACTLY what I'm doing when I get my 2DR. I've had Hideways in my last two F150's, they're great. Is that the 10" version?
yup. note that is the first revision.

second one I took it back out and kilmatted just where the sub rests (on both sides) and between the bolt mounts. no rattles and I mounted other stuff to the top of the molle.

Do you have the part number and cost for the Ford box?

It was around $300. Don’t recall the part number but I found it in a Google search. My local dealer had it in for me within a few days.

I have this with a kicker 12” and it sounds great, doesn’t take up very much room either

If you really want the space, the cavity where the B&O sub goes is probably the best spot. I'm sure in the future, someone will do a third party sub enclosure for that spot.

I did two 12" Kicker Shallow downfiring subs.

Pics here. I can def say you don't need two 12's but I got a little ambitious.

Love the tailgate enclosures but I have a molle panel there plus at the time, there weren't any options. I do like them but costly.
