I ordered 24 obx sas with mid package, tow and auxiliary switches. I asked my dealer to add the high/lux package Jan. 2 and so far he said he is still working on getting it added with his ford rep. I'm afraid it won't get added. They have have a 23 on the lot with everything I want. Wondering what the differences are from 23 to 24. Trying o decide if I should just go buy that one or wait for a build date on mine and hope the package gets added.

24s are more expensive, so if you can get a deal on a Bronco sitting on a lot now, do that.

2024s SAS do get the severe duty steering rack though...

I thought there was no issue making order changes as long as it's before you get assigned a VIN/build date... Maybe I'm wrong, but I've made like 4 changes since placing my order, and my SA made it seem like it wasn't a problem.
That being said, maybe go for the 2023 if it has everything you want.

Not sure how much MSRP went up, but the updated steering rack would be about a $2000 up-grade, if you're off-roading it.

I have made two changes (Color/Mod Bumper) to my OBX since I placed my order with no problem. I even had them print off the order sheet to make sure the changes were in place.

I'm probably not going to off road this beauty. That is what the bronco II has been set up for. The one on the lot is not much cheaper, but I really don't think it should take a month to get the high/lux package added to my order. We are going with this dealer because he is a friend of a friend. I have talked to ford chat and marketing and both said the dealer needs to add the package. The dealer said he is still working with his rep on it.

So what is the difference with the interior also between the 23 and 24?

The 8” screen is gone - they are all 12”

I think the rear cupholders are standard now.

MGV is standard (although OBX may override that)

Umm… can’t think of anything else offhand

Incorrect. For MY'24, OBX only has leather seating along with carpet interior.

Depending on when the MY'23 on the lot was built, it may have cloth seats. For MY'24, there is no longer a cloth seat option. Leather is standard.

Well, the one on the lot is 1,000 cheaper but it does have the leather/vinyl seats, the 12 in screen because it has the lux and high. It says it has cup holders in the back. It comes with a mod bumper and soft and hard top. It is an obx sas.
The 24 I ordered is a hard top obx sas.

That is a no-brainer to me. Take the bird-in-the-hand. You are getting everything that you ordered plus a ST for less.

If the color is what you want, then don't overthink it. Your Bronco is waiting.

The 24 will have the upgraded steering rack. No other differences.

I'd go for the one on the lot. Like, right now lol.
Even if you ended up doing some light to moderate off-roading, I'm sure your rack will be fine.
