I’m talking about the ones on the exterior. You can see them if you take the spare off and look in the middle of the spare tire mount.

Vent. When you put the heat or AC on the air needs to flow through the vehicle

They are to relieve the interior pressure when you close the doors or when you have the A/C on when it's not on recirculate, just a vent.

Most cars have vents to allow air to escape when shutting the doors. The air pressure upon shutting the door can cause the effort to close to be too high.

Manufacturers hide them on cars and SUVs they are under the rear bumper. Truck’s are on the back of the cab hidden by the bed.

It's for better cornering. Ford initially planned to have a big wing on the back, but they ran into tipover problems, so they decided to make a smaller hidden wing as part of the tailgate. They broke the wing up into smaller "multiple wings" that "multiply" the downward force exponentially...

Hey, could be a thing....

Can anyone answer why the wires for the taillight and rear camera could not have come through the very middle of the tire mount and thus be "invisible" and one less place for moisture to get in?

There’s plenty of moisture coming through the roof. I wouldn’t worry too much about the wire hole.

It’s so you don’t blow your eardrums when you close a door. Every vehicle has them.

As the guy who postulated a conversation between two Ford employees at a bar having a conversation about naming it Eruption Green and the interior design specialist that over played his hand and ended up drugged and unceremoniously dropped out of a cab at Bronco Sport Headquarters, this is absolutely brilliant.
