Here are the lights and harness I used.

The harness worked great. It gives you plugs to attach to the lights. Makes it easy to install, replace, or remove the lights. Wired the relay to the 12 volt outlet. Wired the switch to the rear side light. Was not sure what the load capacity was on the rear side light. Although, the overall new light load is very small. About 2 amps. In this configuration, the load goes through the 12 volt outlet wire.

The lights simply bolt on. I did need to replace the light mounting screws. They are setup to be installed with a through bolt and nut. Replaced with a socket head cap screw. Had to grind the top of the screw to clear the light.

Believe it or not, this cheap ass light bar was pretty awesome, but I have to make it mount nicer. A matter of time and priority, nothing against the light bar. It lights up the area nicely.

Unfortunately, I just looked and it's currently "unavailable", but there are plenty of others selling the same thing.

I liked that it came with several different wiring options and an optional remote with multiple settings. The light bar can function without the remote module.

No center dome light on a softtop. In fact no frigging front seat light when doors open other than the low light ambient that are only there so you can find the switches for the also poor lights under the mirror.

I need some door operated switches and drill holes I guess since the factory door switch system cannot be tapped for aux lighting
100%!

I picked up this led from Harbor freight today to try to mount on the inside via the magnet on the back of it. It provides plenty of light but magnet isnt strong enough to stay without sliding down the inside. Might go back and get the light switch unit and get some double sided tape and mount to the ceiling. Will keep everyone posted

I got angry that the cargo area was so dim so I kinda got obsessed with making a solution over the weekend. I wired up an LED strip to a reed switch on the cargo gate along with a relay to light up when the door opens. Works pretty well and is pretty well hidden!
