What Body Style is a Bronco (for vehicle registration purposes)

I believe in NYS the registration code would be "SUBN", which I assume is an abbreviation for suburban. At least it has been for my previous SUVs. I never really checked the Bronco registration when that one came in but I assume it is the same.

Doesn't matter what the state calls it. Register, Drive, Enjoy!!!!

That is what my registration shows, SUBN or suburban here in NYS.

You're talking to a group of people who spend thousands of dollars to make their vehicle 1-2" taller. What the registration says is 100% taking up headspace for these guys

I have the Texas plates and registration sitting on my desk for my 4 door and it says:

VEHICLE CLASSIFICATION: PASS-TRK
BODY STYLE: UT

I should put them on the vehicle, but then it won't be new anymore... ha!

You definitely DO NOT want to register it in NY as a truck and have to place that fugly foot square commercial sticker on the doors.

And in other states, SUV or VAN gets a pass on being a Truck which usually entails higher registration fees

Heck, if you didn't get a MIC, register as a Sports Car, like MG or XKE, with the top down.

The 4dr are considered station wagons. Even DMV know what a grocery getter, mall crawler is....

The 2dr falls under SUV or hatchback.
