Essentially my dealer, “you’ll get nothing from us, no updates, no build date, no swag….and you know what…you’ll just have to suck it up and complain on some forum somewhere”

Reminds me of Ford service department… case in point. Would bring in my $68k Raptor for service. I’d sit in the little waiting area with the paid vending machines and coffee pot. For entertainment you’d have 4 year old car magazines (Chosen for positive Ford articles) and Ford propaganda pamphlets while an old 32inch Tv hangs in a corner on a tv program you can’t change. Mind you there’s either crappy internet or none at all. Also no loaner program nor a shuttle to take you anywhere during your 2-hour+, no update throughout, service.

Versus $26k Mini Cooper (BMW service department). You get assigned a service concierge specific to your car and appointment time. They ask you immediately would you like a loaner (newest model) or a shuttle to drive you within 25 miles. Or you can sit in their waiting area with a 75inch screen, free WiFi, complimentary beverages and espresso.

I sound bitter. Well should’ve offered me a free swag pen huh Ford…lol

My dealership gave me a complimentary subscription to their spam list. Pretty sweet.

My dealer replies to emails in a timely manner. I'll take that for now. Some swag in the ride when I pick it up would be a nice surprise.
