What dashcams work with the Dongar tech mirror adapter besides garmin mini?

I think any that is USB powered should work, but can I ask why you don't want the Garmin Mini 2? That's actually exactly what I have with the Dongar adapter and it's a great little camera that's basically invisible behind the mirror

does it power off with the auto stop start? Or does it stay on?

Can't speak to the poster, but I know for me, the my camera VIOFO turns off with ASS.

I don't have it wired to any aux power because I only care while driving.

I'm pretty sure it stays on because the car stays in accessory mode even when it turns off while stopped, but I'll try to confirm soon. I typically turn AS/S off so I don't remember off the top of my head.

I like it I just wish it had a true rear view Cam for people rear ending you. This seems to happen all the time now a days.

I'm running the Thinkware U1000 in my Shelby and like it alot.

I just got the Ring Car Cam today, it looks promising, it's powered through the OBD-II port and if you pay for a subscription it will run over LTE Cellular, otherwise it's only through wi-fi, but it does store videos on it.

It caught me in my garage, when I climbed up on the rear tire to get something off the roof rack.

It can also do two-way talk. Has a privacy feature for the inside and you can tell it to record a traffic stop, etc.
