I am about to pickup my Bronco in Florida the next few days... I received a Retail Buyer's Order that was sent to me by the dealer that has ALL sorts of add-ons. Fortunately, they are not trying to play the ADM game.

Here are the fees that are listed:
$899.00 - Predelivery Service Fee
$45.00 - Private Tag Agency
$787.20 - Dealer Handling Fee
$495.50 - Electronic Registration Filing Fee
$450.00 - Florida Title, Registration and License Fees (should be $225)

Total is almost $2700

All of these fees (except title/registration) are complete fluff and just extra dealer profit... Let me know what 'fees' you guys had to sort out when you picked up.

Thanks for your responses...

Additional Dealer Markup. What exactly am I missing? That’s what that looks like to me. Except they missed the 400.00 nitrogen filled tires fee.

These look like a new way to ADM.

Aside from tax/tag/title fees they just add the 699$ for the dealer admin fee and then they have a standard “protection package” for 495$ that includes ford surface care and some PPF in a few commonly knicked areas.

WTF? The asshattery is strong with that dealership.

That dealer is bordering on racketeering with those made up fees.

Tell the dealer that a Good to Excellent Ford New Vehicle CS survey is coincidentally $2800

I’m struggling with my favorite charge.

Predelivery fee-$899 or
Electronic registration fee-$495.50

I might go electronic registration fee for the effort on non round numbers. Really sells it.

I’ve often wondered about those surveys. Does a lower score affect both the salesperson and the dealer?

Not trying to be dick OP. I’d fight them for a detailed explanation on each of the charges then hold them to agreed upon price. Hopefully that’s in writing somewhere.

If is doesn’t, then why do dealers tell customers that if they can‘t give them a top score to call them before sending in the survey?

Surveys can affect area market money and dealer holdback with some of the companies. I used to work for Chrysler Credit in the last century and it could effect the dealer’s floor plan interest rates
