After 10 months of ownership I finally dropped off my beauty rings at the powder coaters yesterday.

I did a huge write-up on this mount a while back. I could not agree more that installing the bottom half to the vehicle before adding the winch and deck is a MUST. It’s just too heavy to get into place as you install the bolts. Also a ton of room for your hands to get around while installing the bolts. I didn’t install the light bar until last.

Additionall, I recommend one of these. I use it on a ton of mods and help others with it as well.

I ordered some floor mats and pod lights to go along with the 315/70 Wildpeak AT3W’s that will get installed as soon as my wait is over. It’s been sitting at a rail yard 25 miles away the last week along with 13 other Broncos that my dealer is expecting any day now.

7/20/20 reservation with all the sins except tow.

The brackets are already there. The left side had a tow ring on it and the right side just had 2 bolts into the bumper. I removed the tow ring on the left side and just used the existing bolts to put them on.

Today was GMRS radio mic and holder day.

This morning I recieved the new Midland MXMC01 niose-cancelling mic and RAM mounting parts. I went from having a Frankenclaw mount that I cobbled together:

To having a cleaner and a little more stable setup*:

* - The zip-tie you may see near the base of the Archetype Racing D-handle is holding the mic cable to the d-handle as a strain relief.

Installed the JCR tailgate reinforcement, so I could lift the spare tire up to clear the hitch. Works great. Great product. Now I can tow my trailer with ease.

Got it dirty for the first time today! I think onboard air is the next addition.

Wasn’t today but a couple weeks ago I installed BroncBushing to steering rack, added a bit more lift, and 1” wheel spacers.
