Thoughts on the Metaltech sliders?

I am definitely going to get slider/steps, and the Metaltech ones are on my short list.
I've got them on my 4 door and honestly love them. There a huge step up rom just having stock rockrails.

Put another 1/2" of lift on the front, wasn't liking the rake, and put stock lugnuts on so I could run center caps. Plus 1/4" spacers in front which fixed my rubbing at full lock.

What were the issues? What bumper is that?
1. Hardware to mount resistor is not long enough to engage nyloc on nuts.
2. Connection for resistor leaves much to be desired given the fact that the rear tires kick water and dirt into this area.
3. Mounts are cheap and prefect alignment kind of depends on how far you thread in tail light mounting bolts on inside edge.
4. Not an oracle issue but the trim pieces that have to be taken off to replace a tail light are slightly ridiculous for a β€œrough and tumble off-roader”.

Long story short , compared to what they cost, and what an oem ford tail light costs … it’s obvious to see where your money goes. Not that it’s a bad thing. But if you like easy plug and play no muss no fuss … well, it costs money to achieve that. For what these cost I can deal with minor issues.

Installed the mabett front door cup holders.

Spigen matte screen protector (thing is niiiice)

The cargo hooks from sinister.

New silicon license plate holder.

Replaced all 4 inch speakers with the kicker ks. Still need to install the 6.5s and the key amp. For another day... I'm tired.

Installed my Suma Mirrors! Love them then went out towards Moab and did Top of the World trail. Bronco did great and got to test out my front locker, a lot! It was awesome. No pics of on the trail, back was killing me and getting spasms, but here are some pics. And no, no picture of my Bronco on the edge. I couldn't get closer than 3 feet just walking to it, 😬.

Decided to go with bushwhacker fender flares. I actually love them! Haven't decided if I should put the pieces on the back doors. I'm kinda liking it without. Along with the flares, I put 1.20" spacers all around. Afterwards I tooky wife and kids to the "Truck Playground ". Let me know what you think about the flares and whether or not I should put the pieces on the back doors.

Took my spare off… getting ready to make a delete for it. Just not a fan of them hanging off the back.

Please post pics when done. I kind of feel the 2dr needs a spare to have the right visual balance.

I'm hoping to see someone to weld up all the holes and have a clean tailgate.
