what do you mean by use the factory cable as an adapter? Thanks.

The cable you need is a female to female. They send a male to female. So to make it all work i pluged in the extension cable at the camera ran it back to the engine bay, pluged in the factory cable you remove from the grill into the extension cable and then into the other end of the factory cable into the bronco.

Got home from work today and Rough Country tow hook brackets arrived. 30 mins later installed. Not sure if I like the red yet…..may be bronze shortly.

I put blue ones on my AMB. It looks like you have AMB too. I almost went with red but it clashes too much I thought.

We went TOPLESS and DOORLESS for the first time! I purchased the Top Lift Pro so I could take everything off by myself. I put the center top piece on the main piece and removed them with, and store them on, the Top Lift Pro.

I thought it felt a little too wobbly for storage so I used the Jeep top extensions to make a brace between the base and the lift platform. I also added the green strap to make sure the center top piece doesn’t slide off the main piece because it leans back slightly.

Is “hook brackets” another name for shackles?

The tow hook brackets are attached to the shackles. They replace the tow loops behind the plastic bumper.

I got mine all muddy again. Now that it's a bit warmer around here I was able to wash about three pounds of mud off of it in my driveway before going to the car wash to get it clean. They'll turn you away if you try showing up with the mud still attached.

Went on a road with mud and snow and a couple of drifts that were about a foot deep. In 4A mode with locked rear differential I got through easily enough. A lesser vehicle would have gotten stuck there for sure. When the Bronco is muddy enough, it's hard to get in and out of it without getting muddy yourself. And the door handles were just covered.

Another couple of months and it will just be a lot of dust that I'm dealing with. I'm starting to think that a monthly pass to the car wash might be a good thing.
