Got the DV8 Inner fenders installed. Was more work than I thought when I purchased, that is because I have the fully aftermarket suspension with the resi's. Had to trim a few things front and back to get them to fit correctly. But in the end, I am happy with them. The 37's do not rub anymore!

My thoughts: Well made, solid. I would say to use some locktite on the bolts that hold them together. As attaching to the inner fender, use some washers. DV8 does not say so, but yeah, you want to do that. When done, you will not have any rattles and they will be nice and tight. Yeah I know, the BIG DV8 logo, but meh, I have that logo all over, so one more is not going to hurt anything

Not the best shots of it being completed, I'll take some more later.

We added our new stripe (available next week) and then enjoyed some sun with the top down!

I didn't do a stripe. I did the Black Diamond hood decal. BTW - I really like the BFG's with the RWL's.

Several reviews on YT state that it helps controlling the temperature during the summer and mildly improves the acoustics of the cabin, but has little to no impact on road noise. For example

I have to agree with the video to an extent. I came into this with limited expectations regarding hwy speed noise reduction. Most of what I experience is wind buffeting on the square body frame. That being said, I am still running my bestop sunrider front, but had the panels installed in the back area. I plan on switching out my bestop this weekend for the hard top panels so will have a more accurate assessment after that.
I have to say that upgrading my stereo has been the #1 best mod I have done to this vehicle next to the sunrider. The stereo components upgrade combined with the adjustment to the audio programming through forscan have made listening to music within the cabin really enjoyable at all driving speeds.
The fit and finish of the panels is excellent and really finishes off the roof interior, especially in the back cabin area.
I live in WI so it will be interesting to see if there is a warm insulating factor during cold weather. We don't get a lot of intensely high temps here during the summer and I am running the bestop sunrider during those months, so this will be mostly for winter time.
Although having just the back cap area covered may provide some heat relief back there during the summer. In regards to audio improvement, I could hear a slight improvement in clarify from the back roll bar speakers after installing the cab roof panels.
I thought the price was reasonable for a US made, hand crafted product that should last the lifetime of my Bronco. Will post a more in depth review on my journal page
once i've gone through the winter with all the panels on.

Finally had a chance to test out my IK Multi Pro 2 pump sprayer with ONR.
The hood was very dirty and just needed a spot wash as the rest of the vehicle was fine.
Sprayed down the hood and used a couple of micro fiber towels to clean the surface, then applied OG drying aid to finish it off. Was wanting to try this out with my Shelby, but it has been at the body shop since July.
Sad that I didn't snap a "before" picture, but really liked the results.

Nothing!

Instead, I got completely owned by a ball joint for a control arm.

How hard could it possibly be to press a simple ball joint into a control arm? Hard enough to shear the top land of the snap ring groove. I really don't understand why I make simple stuff difficult!

Maybe tomorrow I will have pictures of actual parts going on the vehicle.

Mine dressed up for Halloween and gave out ducks-n-candy (but not enough of either as I still have over 200 ducks and $80 worth of Sam’s Club candy left).
