$30 Amazon front mud flaps. They are plastic coated fiberglass, so flexible and rigid at the same time. . I hate mud flaps, but they are cheaper than paint touch up kits (also have that ready to go). These just screw into the flare and the existing fender liner material. Should stay put on the road, but release if they get pinched while wheeling.

Is this screwed directly into the underside of your fender flare? I'm installing the same flaps today and wanted to make sure I understand what you did there.

This weekend, I unintentionally tried out the 3-tire stance while wheeling in Hot Springs, AR. Surprisingly, I was freaked out more than my wife when it happened.

Is this screwed directly into the underside of your fender flare? I'm installing the same flaps today and wanted to make sure I understand what you did there.

Yes. I used self tappers at the plastic ridge for one of the quarter turn fasteners that holds the flare on, it lined up nicely with the flap. Also the inner fender liner has nothing behind it, but it holds the screws well. They were removed by the dealer during my motor replacement, I used the same holes to put them back on and they are solid. I did upgrade to a screw with a built in washer to improve clamping force, and used about 6 per side. Black screws, they are nearly invisible. So, two in the flare itself, the rest go into that fabric/inner fender cover spaced along the flap.

Just the mirror head. The attachment point for the motor to the arm was broken but repairable with a longer screw. Cap popped off too but went back on

Installed a BlackVue dash cam. It wasn't nearly as difficult to hard wire as I had anticipated.

Done, but I am going to paint the rear edge black. The mat I ordered was exactly the same width as the shelf.
