Took my girls for their first ride, sprayed the pinch weld and added the hood deflector...loving this thing!
They turned out great. How long did it take you?Did it myself. Considered powder-coating but it was crazy expensive around here and that made me realize touching up powder-coated ones that get boulder-rash is going to be expensive to maintain as well. So I grabbed some color-matched paint from automotivietouchup.com and just did them myself. Fairly simple.
Touch up on these should be fairly easy and a heck of a lot cheaper.
- Remove
- Scuff with 3m pads
- wash with soap and water
- thoroughly dry
- couple coats of primer
- 3 coats of paint
- couple coats of matte clear coat
- Install
They turned out pretty good.

Yes I have the crash bars removed. Didn't bother trying it with them on. Also have a 1" bora spacer on to give it a bit more room. Everything fits great and no rubbing at allDid you remove the crash bars? Any rubbing?
