Installed the bumper/nudge bar from DV8 Offroad on my β€˜21 Badlands. Bar is well made with good clean welds, even powder coating, and smooth edges/corners. It was also packaged extraordinarily well for shipping to ensure it arrived damage free. Bolted right up!

I like that it was a lower profile and didn’t block the lettering on the grille as well.

I didn’t remove them, just didn’t install them yet. They bolt on at established mounting points. I’ll do those once I figure out which lights I want to use.

Just cruising with my youngest. It was the first time I put the top down with him and he absolutely flipped out. β€œDaddy! But where’s the ceiling!?” With near terror in his voice. As soon as we started driving all I heard was go faster!

I prefer this look over the OEM bar...the camera being blocked would drive me nuts though

(edit) Running Red Elephant Hill in the mountains north of Dumont, CO. Due to some washouts, this trail changed from a 6 to 8.5. Seven trucks made it through the area and avoided high-centering the trailing arm on a rock. I took the same line and the rock spit me into a tree. I was not the first to hit that tree because there were numerous scrape marks.

Not looking for sympathy. Just want to put this out there. If you go wheeling, this can happen. Will it prevent me from wheeling in the future? I so NO. Just be careful and expect some dings and scratches.

The camera isn’t blocked, although the bar is visible. It rides low enough that while you can indeed see it, the camera still provides enough visibility to be really useful. Track projections still work perfectly and the spotter camera angle on the front tires isn’t impacted at all. Was one of the best options I’ve seen so far.

Finally installed the rope and fairlead. Hate how the rope feeds around to hook it. Don't want to block light bar. I gotta investigate the thimble or flat links. Need a decent priced option.

Get you some green pin d-rings and mount them on your recovery points. That way you won’t need to wrap your rope around.

Installed the Rough Country High Winch Mount on my Capable Steel Bumper. Fit like a glove and all the sensors work perfectly. Also installed the JCR Camera Relocation Kit.

Just another solution for anyone who wants to add a winch but doesn’t want to spring for another bumper yet.

You can see on yours that the rope goes across the area where mine has a light bar if you hook to there. Wife doesn’t have light bar in hers, so not a big deal.

Ah, I see what you are talking about now. Yes, that is a tough solution to find a way to not block the light bar.
