Installed the Rough Country High Winch Mount on my Capable Steel Bumper. Fit like a glove and all the sensors work perfectly. Also installed the JCR Camera Relocation Kit.

Just another solution for anyone who wants to add a winch but doesn’t want to spring for another bumper yet.
@shawn6107 Wait, what! Is this the mount for the modular you fitted to the capable? Can you share more details on this install. Thanks πŸ€™πŸ»

Yes it is. I just followed the instructions for the mod bumper but applied them to the capable bumper. It only mounts to the frame bolts that are obviously in the same spot regardless of bumper. I had to move the sensors just like you would with the mod bumper. The plastic bolt covers have to be cut on either bumper so I just cut it off with a sawzall right at the edge of the joint to the outside pieces and snapped them in place. That part is actually easier than on the mod bumper. I can probably send you pictures of that if you need them but for everything else just follow the instructions for the mod bumper.

@shawn6107 Appreciate it. I’ll take a look through their cut sheet. πŸ‘πŸ» Looks good

Been thinking about a bull/brush guard too. Either fab on from scratch or modify one for the Mod bumper. Drill and tap the bumper.

I’ve been toying with a similar idea. A stinger to protect the camera and winch mount would be nice.

Installed the under hood light strip - Cringed a little when I drilled a hole to mount the hood switch, but it had to be done.

Decided on an accent color - RED (Remember Everyone Deployed)
I added a washer on top/bottom and put mine through that existing square hole (to the left of that bolt in the middle in your pic)
