Here’s what the Flowmaster Flow FX axle back system looks like and sounds like on my 2.7 powered Wildtrak. I installed this system 3 days after I picked it up from the dealership (2 two weeks ago). The install was a little more complicated than I was expecting. I had to remove the rear bumper to access the bolts on the OEM exhaust hanger bracket on the passenger side. You have to sandwich the new bracket between the frame and OEM hanger bracket. The nuts were tack welded to the bracket. It was no big deal removing the bumper - it just added a little more time to the job. I completed the install in under N hour and didn’t need to lift my Bronco to do it.

I’m extremely happy with the Flow FX system. I was able to install it completely level with excellent symmetry. I see a lot of crooked after market exhaust systems out there. Aesthetics matter.

It looks great and sounds awesome for a turbo V6. It’s loud without being obnoxious or headache inducing. It has a low drone that is very tolerable. I’m happy I didn’t go with the two louder versions Flowmaster makes (Outlaw & American Thunder). I believe they would cross over into the obnoxious (let’s wake up the neighbors) and headache inducing range.

Installed the Swarfworks bracket, factory safari bar, and Baja LP6 combo/driving lights. Used waterproof connectors to shorten the enormously long harness and tie it into uplifter switches 2, 3, and 4 (I prefer having manual control).

Those fender flares drill into quarter panel or does it just give the look and uses the factory flare locks
Im not sure actually. They were installed by the dealerships in house custom shop for the original customer before they backed out prior to delivery. They’re from the ford accessories catalog if you wanted to research it further. I just really didn’t have a need.

I got these, and am happy with the look. They appear to be 3-D printed plastic. They are inexpensive, but donβ€˜t come with adhesive. I used 3M two-sided foam tape, carefully cut out with a sharp, curved toenail scissors.

No drilling is required for those Bushmaster flares, but the factory, quarter-turn flare locks are replaced with new inner brackets and bolts, so they can be removed, but not by hand like with the quarter-turn locks.

Looks great. I have been eyeing this same set up for my nearly identical build. Were you able to find a deal on either the LP6s or Swarfworks bracket?

I need to shorten up my hardness, it's on my list. The LP6s are awesome!

No rubbing on the road. 0 offset wheels. I plan on taking it off road this weekend and checking for rub. I’ll report back. I decided to get the tie rods because the stock rods have been snapping on some people that have done these types of upgrades. Time will tell.
Any update? Also did you add the bump stop spacers recommended?

Hey, sorry yes, after i read some more of this thread, i saw where you talked about that and also where you relocated the operating part of the winch under the hood.....was that easy? Does RC provide instructions for that? I think that looks miles better with that under the hood..
Relocating the winch control box under the hood is not too difficult. Just have to buy a relocation kit or set of long cables. The rest is time consuming. Not sure where in NC you stay, but if your close to Cameron/Fort Bragg, bring it by and I will help you.
