Installed the Kicker Key amp like a lot of folks, but found a space next to the fuse box to mount the line output converter for my sub amp. I just had to make a little plastic plate and it fit pretty well.

Installed the Eibach coil overs. Ride is a bit softer, with a more bouncy rebound. More comfortable on-road. For reference if any of you install them, 1.5 inches of threads below the spring perch yields exactly 2 inches of lift.

Fresh wash after a few days up and down a dirt road, and about 2 weeks of bugs on the front to clean off. And yes, I did take the spare off to wash behind it. Plus I plan to remove the top tomorrow as this week's forecast looks wonderful. The sun was very bright, I have a floor drain in the garage so I can wash it in there, in the shade. The paint looked very golden in the sun and these photos barely capture it.

How was the install?
Simple - fronts
1. remove stabilizer bar end link from lower control arm
2. remove lower control arm bolts at frame (2 bolts hold it on)
3. Unbolt upper and lower shock bolts (3 on top, 2 on bottom)
4. rotate the lower control arm out of the way and remove the shock.
5. I used a spring compressor to install the new shock.
rears -
1. remove fender liner to get at top shock bolts (3) and remove
2. remove lower bolts
3. pop in the new shocks

I do all this with the suspension in full droop.

My 6 year old is bike crazy and I just bought a Saris hitch Bones bike rack. Live in NE Ohio by Cleveland and the remains of the Erie Canal that ran down to the Ohio river still exists, but as a bike/hike path. Mounted our bikes and she pulled off 4 miles like it was nothing, seeing deer and remarking on the flowers. Life is good.

Brought home my 2dr base on 24AUG; installed a Curt hitch receiver and passenger side tow hook (tow hook was a take off part a friend gave me).

Today another friend gave me a pair of OEM rock rails from his 4dr Badlands. Saw a thread on this forum where a member cut down 4dr rails to work on a 2dr, so I'm going to give that a go!
Can we see more pictures of that beautiful Iconic Silver 2dr base?

Actually used the bronco for some upnorth activities! Even through out a invite to local Michigan peeps. No one came. So I went for a early am wild life cruise, then put a boat in the lake with the truck, caught a lot of bass and a couple pike. Took her up to the runway, shot some clays at 500 yards, headed to the skeet field, couple rounds of skeet and a couple rounds of 5 stand, then went for the mid afternoon cruise, climbed some hills and did some high speed running. Hills always seem steeper falling out the truck than in pictures lol. Stopped back at the bunk house to make lunch, then headed back out do some back roading, fish a couple hidden ponds, then evening wildlife tour, and some night time pred hunting. Happy as all get up with this truck.
