So I did a thing...

Finally got a chance to put the Badlands Apex 12k synthetic winch on my 2.7 with the 2.3 hidden winch mount kit (didn't know back when it was delivered, because RC didn't know that the 2.7 had a heat exchanger right there).

It's not an easy fit. There's just not a lot of room left with the Badlands APEX 12k synthetic winch in there.

Took a 10 hour ride to Tampa and 10 hour ride back to help someone move after the hurricane… and took a few extra days at Universal Studios and Disney. First real vacation in decades. Wife and I geeked out and were kids again.

Note: 20 hours + in town driving for the week was without issue. The Bronco did great. No knee pain like my F150 used to give me.

Did it leave much adhesive residue? If so what did you use to clean it off? I've seen people mention Goo Gone before but that seems harsh to me.

Those wheels are amazing. If we weren't going Sasquatch they would be on the radar for sure.

Not much residue at all a little heat pretty much comes right off. You can use wax to get the residue off.

yup, peeled mine off after hitting it with a hair dryer for about 20 seconds. No residue and reused one of them on rear glass.
