Exactly my issue. The Apex box is just massive and I had no spot that made any sense for it. Ill keep an eye out for your post once you get it migrated to the smaller boxUpdates to come.
I ordered the BAMF bracket.
When it came in it is about 75% of the size it needs to be for the giant Badland control pack cover as it comes off of the APEX. And I'm not even sure that huge cover would even fit anywhere very well over on the battery side of the engine bay.
Others have implemented a smaller box and moved all of the guts out of the factory cover into it.
I will be doing the same.
The box should arrive by the end of the weekend and I'll begin swapping everything over and start installing (Install if my longer cables arrive).
I ordered two different ones, will see which one works best.

In the end the plan is to use the BAMF, which is designed to mount on the front side of the battery tray. Should be room for both the new box and the main power cutoff switch that comes with the winch.
I'll update here once I get it all in and wired up.
A reminder to all also installing these winches: You need to unspool the rope and rewind it under load to have it nice and prepared to use when you actually need it. Per the instructions.
