What does your wife think of the new Bronco?

My wife loves it. In fact, when I was buying my Ranger she said I should wait for the Bronco, but it was still just a concept at the time and I needed a new truck. We'll be trading in her car for it. Only problem is I'd have been fine with a base, she needs creature comforts.. She's got me up to a Big Bend so far, if she had her way it'd probably be an Outer Banks.

If Creature Comforts is a must then you gotta get the Mid-Package with Big Bend.

Her only caveat was that we couldn't sell our Grand Cherokee, which is paid for and has a lifetime warranty, so me getting a Bronco means I have to sell my Challenger Hellcat instead. I'm OK with that.

I was going to get a Tacoma or Wrangler instead - since we need a vehicle now, not in June 2021, but my wife refuses - it's wait for the Bronco or nothing. She's obsessed with it.

She gave me the thumbs up on a loaded OBX for a double duty family road tripper. She will eventually rip apart the rear ac and cargo space, and say its not suitable. I'll never bring myself to selling it. Which means we'll need to upgrade car #2 from a sedan to large SUV (which in her mind, needs to be more expensive than the bronco). Shes already talking leasing a Cayenne as car #2. Not happening. But going with the Bronco is definitely costing me a ton of residual pain. Which is why I am not stressing over the B&P, because the financial hit is going to come from elsewhere. Guess this is the cost to get something I really want.

My wife hates the Bronco. She is convinced that I'm going to show the Bronco more attention than I show her. To be honest, I already have.

And by "wife" I mean my Audi.

That is a tough decision. My 2015 is paid off and not sure i could survive without a truck. Bronco could be a 3rd vehicle for us, or replace her highlander as a DD.

if i get rid of my truck, it would probably be replaced with a 7.3 Tremor.

The Mrs is rather wary of any new vehicle, and is less than thrilled at the prospect of saying goodbye to our 2003 Excursion 7.3. That said, she was not a big fan of the Excursion at first, and I suspect she will be very pleased with the Bronco once it actually arrives.
